For Tulane student Krysten, education has always been a path to opportunity. In this video, she shares how Louisiana Promise helped make a Tulane education possible and inspired her to pursue a future in public service.

Now majoring in political economy and philosophy with a minor in Spanish, Krysten hopes to return to Louisiana as a public defender or civil rights attorney, giving back to the communities that shaped her.
