Longtime Tulane supporters Libby and Robert Alexander donated more than $12 million to advance a university-wide data science initiative that is transforming teaching and research across all disciplines at Tulane and positioning the university as a leader in data pedagogy.

Data literacy for the next generation

Data is everywhere. We are consuming, generating and sharing data. This fall, the Connolly Alexander Institute for Data Science (CAIDS) officially offers Tulane faculty and students programming to significantly increase Tulanians’ data fluency.
